History and Founders
Our History
This initiative to establish a nonprofit association arose from the need among data professionals and various industries for a community of experts that would foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas, as well as best practices in implementing data strategies that ensure success and drive growth in the region.
2019
Our association emerged from the CDO LATAM SUMMIT, which took place in Lima, on November 18 and 19, 2019.
2020
Second edition of the CDO LATAM SUMMIT in virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021
The third edition of the CDO LATAM SUMMIT was held in a virtual format due to the pandemic.
2022
Fourth edition of the CDO LATAM Congress, after two years we returned to the face-to-face and virtual modality in Buenos Aires Argentina with the support of the City Government.
2023
Fifth edition of the CDO LATAM Congress held in Mexico City with the support of ITAM.
2024
Sixth edition of the CDO LATAM Congress held in the city where the association was founded, Lima, Peru.
2025
Seventh edition of the CDO LATAM Congress held in Bogotá – Colombia, with the support of the University of the Andes.
